Introduction

The TACCSO UNIZUL Foundation is a social organization that raise's funds through donations and contributions from members, alumni and external sources. The Unizul Foundation acts as a custodian for funds raised and invests funds in support of a wide array of projects and events, with emphasis on community services through Carrier guidances

The Fundraising Commitee

The Fundraising Commitee consists of five members. The Treasurer of the main commitee is the chairperson of this sub-commitee, the publicity officer automatically becomes the Secretary General of the sub-commitee, and the other three members are elected from general members the TACCSO UZ. This sub-commitee exists to make sure that the organisation is financially stable, and their main objective is to raise funds for the organisation and make sure that these funds are maintained and used strategically to an extent that they do not run out.

Alumni Funds

This grant assist students who have a shortfall in their fees and who have performed exceptionally well in their academic studies.


Priorities


Promote Local Relevance & Alumni Relations

• Establish High school, tertiary and the TACCSO Aumni linkages.
• Develop Carrier Expo's oriented programmes
• Mobilize UZ Alumni to make a significant contribution to the the TACCSO
• Provide points of interaction between the TACCSO and the upper house of the church.

Welfare


• Promote a healthy living environment conducive to excellence in spiritual and academic life

• Provide adequate lifestyle to meet the needs of the the students
• Enhance the capacity of the health services to cope with both physical and psychosocial health needs of the University community

• Assist the Organisation by awarding grants so as to meet its strategic priorities
• Assist in Fundraising for the relevant cause

The foundation was established in 2011 for the purpose of raising funds on behalf of the the TACCSO and to act as a custodian for funds raised by external and internal people, such as the Alumni, students contributions and other organizations.
