OUR OBJECTIVES

                  

1.             To promote the teachings, doctrines and articles of faith of Christianity, distribution of Gospel through young and growing nation in the higher education institutions and outside as applicable to The Twelve Apostles Church In Christ.

2.             To establish congregations on various institutions for the promotion of the said teachings, doctrine and articles of faith of Christianity.

3.             Recruiting more students to the organization and encouraging students to affiliate in the church.

4.             To help the youth of our country inside and outside the church to have access to the institutions of higher education.

5.             To contribute to the development of youth inside and outside the church by inculcating social and academic education through the doctrine of the organisation.

6.             To facilitate better understanding amongst the students about the Christian life and social life in our community.

7.             Enlighten students spiritually, socially and academically using the principles of the church and the organisation.

8.             Promote student involvement in church, organisation and institution social development activities.

9.             Uphold unity, accountability, democracy, integrity, transparency and efficiency as principles of good governance throughout the organisation and its structures.

10.         To alleviate involvement of members of the church in evil, politically-driven conflicts and other socially - destructive activities. 

11.         To protect the rights of the members of the organisation within the institutions of higher education.

12.         To ensure that the organisation affiliates in all institutions and protect our rights of freedom of association without disturbance of the institutions’ structures.

 

 


OUR HISTORY 

The Twelve Apostles Church In Christ Students organization was formally launched in University of Zululand in 2008

 

 

ORGANISATION POLICY AND MEMBERSHIP

              1.The TACCSO is under the umbrella church being The Twelve Apostles Church In Christ

                             2. Any person may be a member of the organization provided that he or she shall have been taken up by an officer, received the seal through the Holy Baptism and the laying of hands by an Apostle.

         3. Any other registered student shall be allowed to join the organization as a convert and be entitled to enjoy the privileges of the organization. 

        4. In the event of any member losing his or her membership, whether by way of  resignation, expulsion, completion of degree or diploma, or otherwise, he or she shall have no claim of any kind against the organization or its property in respect of contributions or donations made by him/herself during the period of his/her membership.

         5. The organization shall continue to exist even when the membership and/or leadership changes.

         6. The organisation shall be not be able to own property independent of the institution.

         7. The church shall not be sued for whatsoever or any accusations directed to the organisation and shall not be held liable for any blunders of the organisation.

         8. The organisation shall be held liable for any debts incurred for and on its behalf.

         9.The organisation shall be sued in its own name and be held liable and can act on its own name.

         10.No members shall be held responsible for debts incurred by the organization unless the member is held accountable.
